Tell me about yourself. What’s a day in your life like?
Oh… I’m really boring actually.
Ok, here goes; I’m a mother to two lovely rascals, a wife, blogger and student.
My days are filled with… Well, books, laundry, lunch boxes and everything else any parent knows from their lives. I’m on a leave from school at the moment, but I’m currently preparing for my big course starting in April; pharmacology. Dry reading!!!
When you were a child, what was your dream occupation?
Hmm… I always wanted to be a vet. Ever since I was a little girl. Or an author. I was told, I would never achieve either because I wasn’t good enough. ;-)
Describe an incident in your life that’s helped mold you into the person you are today.
Oy…. There were many incidents who made me who I am today. I will have to say it was one person who made the biggest positive impact on me as a child, teenager. Unfortunately, I lost her many years ago before she could see what I’ve made with my life. My grandmother. She showed me it was ok to be me. She was the first one who accepted me for me, and still loved me. And she wasn’t my grandmother by blood, she was my stepdad’s mother, which to me makes it even more amazing. The time I spent with her and my grandfather helped me stand on my own leg and defend myself against the rest.
Who are your favorite authors?
Well, at least you’re not making me chose just one!!!! I have sooo many, and I still find new ones. *don’t shoot me if I forget anyone!!!*
You (of course, I’m a proud JR7 junkie!), R.L. Naquin, Kait Ballenger, Ada McEwan, Sonya Loveday, Lisa Shearin, J.R. Tolkien, J.K Rowling… Just to name a few. There are many, many more!!
What are you passionate about?
HA! Sure you want that list? *looks innocently*
My kids. Never, EVER harm them. I might look harmless, but I am a Mama Bear in hibernation.
Books, animals, authors, music.
Life in general, to tell the truth. It may have its up and downs, but it has its little pieces of magic here and there, if you look closely.
What would I find in your couch cushions?
*peeks and blushes*
Uhhmmmm…. Kids in the house, remember? Old candy, crumbs and toys, most likely. Although…. Our new couch will arrive next week, so… *grins*
What’s your biggest fear?
To lose my family.
It’s 10:00 on a Friday night. Where are you?
Home with my hubby, either on the computer or reading. Preferably with a good movie on the TV. *Told you I was boring*
We’re in a bar and I’m buying you a drink. What’ll it be?
Huh…. I VERY rarely drink alcohol. I don’t like the effect, and I’ve seen too many drunk people in my time. But if you insist…. Rum with sprite or cola.
What are you currently reading?
5 or 6 books. I always have multiple books open. When one gets to be too good, then that is the one I focus on.
Let’s see…. I’m currently reading….
· Kitty Hawk and the Hunt for Hemingway’s Ghost by Ian Reading *brilliant series*
· Thimble Down by Peter Prown
· The Taken by Julieanne Lynch
· Being Mrs. Dracula by Faith Marlow
· Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
· Unelmoija: The Dreamshifter by Elle Boca
· Veterinary Pharmacology And Therapeutics by different authors *school book*
How do you deal with rejection?
I learn from it, and move on. Yes, it stings, but it won’t change anything to be mad about it.
Is the glass half empty or half full?
That depends on what kind of day I have. But I generally try to look at the glass as half full.
A slug crawls through the door wearing a top hat. What does he say and why is he there?
He’s there for my cookies of course!!! Lol
He’s asking for a cup of tea and some cake/cookies.
Have you ever stolen a pen from work?
No. My husband had ones made for a long time ago, which are really good, so I use them at work instead. Even for finals. I can handle writing with them for hours.

As a blogger, it can be difficult to find enough time in the day to get everything done. Would you like to share your favorite ‘quick and easy’ recipe?
Make enough food to last for another day or two. :-) Since I’ve got kids in the house, it is sometimes ….uhmmm…. tricky to find something the entire family wants to eat. Not to mention, I’ve got a husband who is just as picky with his food. *sighs* You try get veggies into him!!! *throw up hands*
Enjoy your life, never give up on your dreams. No matter what people say – you ARE worth it, and your dreams are NOT insignificant. Fight for it.
